Commemorative artwork designed locally in Missoula, Montana. I start with a simple sketch with my notebook. The image is then imported and cleaned up in a 2D art program. After the image is perfected a 3D rendering is constructed to create a mold. A pressure system creates a very rough physical print. From here the coin is sanded and cleaned. The base model is undergoes a double anodizing process which gives it the sparkling silver and gold plating. Finally, a set of colored gems is delicately set in the hands.
