This highly detailed Aoshima 1/48 scale plastic model kit accurately recreates the apollo lunar module, eagle 5. This is the lunar lander that took Neil Armstrong and Buzz AldrIn to the moon in 1969, with Armstrong's famous words, "houston, tranquility base here. The eagle has landed." This magnificent kit includes 2 astronaut figures with backpacks, metal springs which allow extension and shortening of the lunar module's legs, every external detail and antenna array and precision cockpit instrument decal display. This kit is part of Aoshima's space ship series and a "must have" for any historical space collection.
