Presenting the 1 oz Australian Silver Koala coin by the Perth Mint. It is a staple for international Silver bullion collectors and one of the most desired productions from the Perth Mint.

It was first introduced in 2007 and every year the reverse features a new design making this series a making them much more collectible as bullion. The series is offered in two sizes; 1 oz and 1 kilo (2.2 lb). The reverse features a Koala nestled between branches of a eucalyptus tree, note that the Koala designg varies by year, the inscription “Australian Koala" and the mint mark for Perth's Mint "P" complement the design along with the year-date, wight and purity. Additionally, each coin contains a security feature engraved with a micro-laser, only detectable with a magnifying glass.

The obverse depicts Jody Clark's design of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

The coin holds a face value of $1 (Australian Dollar) backed by the Australian Government.
